While rooted in South Asian fashion, Layra is a community-driven space for anyone who wants to celebrate, share, and appreciate culture through pre-loved clothing — because culture is meant to be shared, not confined.
Layra stands out because it recognises that South Asian fashion deserves its own sustainable platform. Traditional outfits that are often worn only once—such as lehengas, sarees and embellished sets—can be passed on, re-worn, and appreciated again, rather than sitting unused or being discarded.
Layra is inspired by my friend Laura, who is Syrian and embraces South Asian culture with genuine appreciation and respect. That spirit of openness and connection sits at the heart of Layra.
This is more than a marketplace. It’s a space where culture circulates, stories continue, and fashion becomes a shared experience.
