Refund policy
At Layra, every item listed is pre-loved and sold by independent sellers within our community. Because of this, refund and return decisions are made by individual sellers, not Layra directly.
We encourage open and respectful communication between buyers and sellers to ensure every purchase feels fair and transparent.
Seller Refund Discretion
All sales are final unless the item is damaged or not as described.
Refunds may be offered if:

Platform Commission
Once a sale is successfully completed, Layra’s platform commission is non-refundable.
If a seller chooses to issue a refund, the seller is responsible for the refund amount minus Layra’s commission and any applicable processing fees.
How to Request a Refund
Return requests must be submitted within 5 days of delivery.
We recommend including:

Layra is a peer-to-peer marketplace and does not own, store, or ship the items listed.
We are here to support communication and fair resolution but cannot force sellers to accept refunds unless there is a breach of our platform guidelines.
Non-Returnable Items
Unless otherwise stated by the seller, the following are typically non-returnable:

Custom or altered garments
Return Shipping

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Refund Amount
If a return is approved:

Buyers will receive a refund minus platform commission and shipping fees.

Seller earnings are adjusted accordingly, but platform commission is non-refundable.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If an item arrives damaged or significantly not as described:

The buyer is eligible for a full refund (including original shipping).

Return shipping will be covered by the seller.
